Production Supervisor – Sprout Grading

Job Overview:

We are seeking a Sprout Grading Supervisor to join our team. As a Production Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our Sprouts Grading production facility.

We will provide full training to the successful candidate.

We offer either a negotiable monthly salary or an hourly rate of £12.74 with overtime paid at time and a half, this is paid to employees weekly.

Employees are entitled to 30 days holiday per year and enrolled into a pension scheme.

Responsibilities:

· Manage and supervise the production team to ensure efficient and timely production processes

· Develop and implement production schedules to meet customer demands

· Monitor production lines to ensure adherence to quality control standards

· Train and mentor production staff on proper procedures and safety protocols

· Maintain inventory levels and order necessary supplies as needed

· Collaborate with other departments such as quality assurance, maintenance, and logistics to ensure smooth operations

· Conduct regular inspections to identify any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards

· Implement and enforce company policies and procedures

· Monitor employee performance, provide feedback, and address any performance issues

Skills:
– Basic maths and IT skills
– Excellent leadership and communication skills to effectively manage a team

Licence/Certification:

• Driving Licence (preferred)
